Season 2011/2012

ODP is a way of identifying and developing the best players in particular age groups. Each year we are looking to improve the process of doing this so there will be more changes this year.

Here are the steps that will take place:

• There will be no district ODP try-outs for District 4.
• Instead each Director of Coaching within District 4 will recommend players that they feel are capable of competing at the State level
• These players will be put into a pool of players for each age group
• This pool of players will automatically be invited to attend State ODP try-outs that will take place on the following dates:
  September 11 - Boys
  September 18 – Girls
  October 9 – Boys
  October 16 – Girls
  December 3/4 – Boys
  December 10/11 – Girls
• Please note that players will be dropped after each State try-out until the final State pool is left after the final try-out in December.

ODP eligibility by birth year (not playing year)
Players are only allowed to try out for eligibility year:

• U13 - January 1 - December 31 1999
• U14 - January 1 - December 31 1998
• U15 - January 1 - December 31 1997
• U16 - January 1 - December 31 1996
