District 4 awards.

The following individuals were recognized for their outstanding achivements within our district. We appreciate their contribution and effort to make youth soccer a rewarding experience for all involved.

2010 District IV Merit Award:

Roy Immekus of the Delta Youth Soccer League was presented with the 2010 District IV Merit Award at the recent Hall of Fame Dinner at the CYSA Soccer Expo in Monterey, California. Roy began coaching soccer in 1988. He became the Fields Coordinator in 1992, and served as the League President from 1995 through 2010. In the League, he implemented the TOPSoccer Program and was the director of the Delta Invitational Division 4 Tournament for 14 years. He currently serves on the Antioch Parks and Recreation Commission and has been an integral part of establishing the Antioch Youth Sports Complex to provide permanent playing fields for various sports year round.
